I have a vacation to Seattle this year, and I want to make a sunglasses case to take with me. We'll create something protective, practical, and easy to carry while exploring the city.

The structure of the sunglasses case is built from hinged chipboard panels, allowing the case to fold into shape while still opening smoothly. The hinge gaps are what give the rigid panels their movement and create the finished three-dimensional form.

Every Stitched Form project is built using French cartonnage, a traditional craft that transforms chipboard, fabric, and paper into beautiful, functional objects.
Instead of learning techniques in isolation, you'll learn them while creating projects you'll actually use and enjoy.
